For employers and agencies
How GetMeCandidates.uk will work
Here is what we're building, step by step. We're shaping the details with our early-list employers and agencies - tell us what you'd need.
1. Set up your organisation
We plan to verify organisations before they can search, to protect candidates from scams and misuse.
2. Search on what the job needs
Search by role, skills, experience, licences and certificates, availability, travel radius, and language skills the role needs. Our aim is that there will be no filters on gender, ethnicity or any other protected characteristic, and nothing inferred from names. Where a role has a legal minimum age, candidates will confirm they meet it.
3. Review profiles
You'll see the details each candidate has chosen to share. Where a candidate has completed a BeCareers screening, we plan to let them choose to share a structured summary, where the employer they screened for allows it. Names and contact details will stay hidden until the candidate accepts your request.
4. Ask to connect
Send a short request about the role through the platform. The candidate chooses whether to accept. We plan to limit the number of requests and let candidates report misuse.
5. Connect and screen
Once a candidate accepts, you'll be able to invite them to a BeCareers screening conversation for your role, or talk to them directly. People make every hiring decision.
6. A record of what happened
We plan to record who searched, viewed and contacted whom, to the same audit standard as BeCareers.
Right to work
We do not plan to offer filters on nationality, visa or right-to-work status. Check the right to work of everyone you hire - not just some people - before they start. See GOV.UK.
