Trust & privacy
Every candidate deserves an equal opportunity - and a say in who contacts them
These are the principles we plan to build GetMeCandidates.uk on. If any change before launch, we'll say so here.
Opt-in, never default
Candidates will only be findable if they switch it on themselves.
Candidates control their profile
They will choose what employers see. Names and contact details will stay hidden in search.
Contact only with agreement
Employers will ask to connect; candidates will accept before any details are shared.
Hide from employers you name
Including a current employer - though we can't stop searches through an agency or another account.
Screening summaries only by choice
A BeCareers screening done for one employer is only shared with others if the candidate chooses - and where it is allowed.
Search on what the job needs
No filters on protected characteristics, nothing inferred from names, and no filters on visa or right-to-work status.
Profiles stay current
We'll check candidates are still looking every few months, and hide profiles that aren't confirmed.
Verified employers
Organisations will be verified before they can search.
Protection from misuse
Limits on contact requests, and a way to report an employer.
Free for candidates
It will cost candidates nothing to be found or contacted.
Built by the BeCareers team
We plan to run GetMeCandidates.uk to the same standards as BeCareers: UK hosting on AWS in London, and a tamper-evident audit trail. Before launch we will complete a Data Protection Impact Assessment for GetMeCandidates.uk and publish its privacy notice and terms.
See the BeCareers privacy approach, Data Processing Agreement and DPIA summary (these cover BeCareers AI screening, not GetMeCandidates.uk).
Join the early list
We want to shape GetMeCandidates.uk with the employers and agencies who join the early list. Join to hear first when it opens, and to tell us the roles you'd use it for.
